Arku’s EdgeBreaker deburring machine is designed to remove thick slag and heavy burrs as large as 3 mm on steel, copper, aluminum, titanium and alloyed parts measuring 80-mm thick and 1,300-mm wide. The machine’s oscillating roller cleans residue from the grinding belt, while sanding blocks gently round the edges on both sides. The belt is designed to provide high abrasion and enable fast changes. Sanding blocks are designed for long service life and quick replacement using a “click” system. An optional sanding tool configuration measures and automatically compensates for wear. A touchscreen programmable logic controller can save part processing parameters to promote faster setup on repeat jobs.
