Disc Brushing Tools
Designed for deburring and other finishing operations in extrusion, automotive and appliance plants, the company’s fiber abrasive disc brushing tools can also be used in fineblanking and other industries.
Outside diameters range from 2.38" to 48," with a standard trim length of 1”. According to the company, its manufacturing process allows product parameters, such as trim length, density, grit, bandwidth, format and mounting style to be customized for a range of applications.
The company's anchoring system imbeds the fibers in a resin body, which is said to increase the durability of the tool. The standard grit is silicon carbide, but aluminum oxide is also available. Other options include customized diameters and nylon-only filaments.
