Kalamazoo Machine offers the model H6A-NC and model H6 SA double-column mitering band saws for demanding production environments. The automatic H6A-NC model is designed for production sawing of structural, solid and difficult materials, while the H6 SA is designed for precision, semi-automatic sawing in demanding production environments.
The fully programmable H6A-NC enables serial cutting of various lengths, sizes, blade speeds and quantities. Additionally, users can store jobs to ease future setups. The saw also features two vises on the in-feed side to ensure the material is clamped securely during all feeding and sawing operations.
Both models feature heavy-duty construction, quality components and advanced design that provide vibration-free sawing and increased blade life, the company says. Other common features include a 6½-degree canted saw head, fully hydraulic functions and saw-feed controls that utilize precision control valves. The free-standing control console can be placed in various locations for ease of use. Additionally, the material feeder is said to produce a very low friction coefficient and precise tolerances. Both the material feeder vise and saw vise are designed to yield the smallest possible remnant end to minimize waste.
