DP Technology Corp. will showcase its Esprit 2017 software release featuring simplified user interaction, smarter toolpath technology and faster programmability. These upgrades are done to the machine and the toolpath performance of Esprit ProfitMilling inside closed cavities.

ProfitMilling in Esprit 2017 optimizes the initial channel width for faster attainment of programmed feed rates and fewer machine decelerations, the company says. The release also features increased simulation speed, enhanced CAD file support, advanced tool settings and five-axis programming features.

According to the company, Esprit delivers full-spectrum programming for two- to five-axis milling, turning, wire EDM, multitasking, Swiss-turn and high-speed three- and five-axis machining and is compatible with a range of machine tools. This includes accurate G-code, exacting simulations and factory-certified postprocessors.
