Engineered for use in high speed cutting and deburring on a variety of materials, Dynabrade, Inc.’s air-powered, 100,000-rpm Pencil Grinder features an ergonomic, pencil-type shaft for operator comfort and control. The housing also has a comfortable “non-slip” grip, the company adds.

This rear exhaust tool has tactile cues on the shaft end to alert the operator to the rotating area. The high speed, turbine-driven air tool has no wearable gears, vanes or blades, which is said to promote long tooling life. Tool speed is adjustable with a twist of an on/off switch. The stainless steel tool housing is constructed for stability and durability.  Collet sizes such as 1/8", 3/32", 1/16" and 3 mm are available.

The grinder powers optional carbide burrs and mounted points for precision deburring, engraving, etching, cleaning and other operations.

  • Jig Grinding On A Machining Center

Roughing and finishing on a single machine, using a single setup, has appeal for most shops. The advantages in time savings and accuracy are obvious. Eliminating the transport of workpieces between machines, as well as the setup for those secondary operations, is a boon for throughput. Critical features that need to maintain dimensional relationships can be much more reliably produced if machined complete in one clamping.

  • Advanced Grinding, Plain and Simple

Advanced grinding equipment gives this shop the flexibility and automation it needs to serve customers with either rapid-response or high-volume jobs.

  • Double-Disc Grinding On The Move

The double-disc grinding process is consolidating its position in automotive applications but is moving into other industries. Double-disc grinders are now easier to operate, and they have added capabilities for control flexibility, precision process control, faster changeovers, and grinding of nontraditional materials.
