Hydraulic Presses For Automotive Applications
Greenerd Press&Machine Company has added die-spotting/tryout presses to its hyrdaulic press line. Used primarily in the automotive industry, the presses are available in various configurations with tonnage ranging to 10,000 tons and bed sizes exceeding 240" (6,100 mm). A micro-adjustment feature provides accurate depth control when die bluing, and motorized rolling bolsters provide fast, efficient die changes and easy maintenance access, the company says. Optional booking rams are designed to allow easy access to the underside of the top die mold.
The presses are equipped with knockout and eject capabilities to provide easy removal of a part or material from a die. In addition, four-corner leveling ensures accurate, consistent thickness for each part, the company says.
