Ingersoll’s Form-MasterR inserts are designed for die and mold applications. The double-sided inserts are available in round and serrated styles. Both offer free-cutting geometry and an anti-rotation clamping system. The serrated style expands the tools’ application range to include extended-reach operations and high-temperature alloys. The serrations also increase stability on the cut and enhance chip management, the company says. Through-the-tool coolant is standard on both end mills and face mills.
