Inspection Software Expands Reporting Options

Verisurf X7 computer-aided inspection, reverse engineering and assembly guidance software features model-based geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) inspection technology. The program includes new options for reporting and presenting data, including exporting to Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint and Adobe 3D PDF Viewer. The updated version is said to enhance productivity and improve reporting, data management, measuring and more. X7 integrates with InspectionXpert software to automate the creation of drawing-based AS9102 first-article inspection and reporting. It also integrates with CM4D statistical process control (SPC) software.
The program features customizable data trees, a MBD manager capture view tool, a faster auto hole axis tool, auto inspection capabilities, smart point tools for auto-alignment targets, and improved scaling of features and alignments. Controls for repeatability testing and laser scanner measurements are also included.
