LED Lamp Makes for Shadow-Free Magnification

Aven's Mighty Vue 5D high-magnification lamp features 36 high-performance SMD LEDs and is suitable for assembly, inspection and precision repair applications. The LEDs are arranged on two sides of the lamp for shadow-free lighting and clarity without glare, hot spots or color degradation. The large 5-diopter (2.25×) lens is mounted in an ESD-safe black plastic housing to avoid static-discharge damage to semiconductors and other electronics. According to the company, the lamp is designed to reduce eye strain and vision fatigue during high-volume fabrication and inspection, and features a 7" × 6" rectangular viewing area to provide a comfortable, undistorted perspective for both eyes. The 32" adjustable arm is spring-balanced internally for secure positioning over a wide work area, whether the user is seated or standing. The heavy-duty base clamp opens as wide as 3.5" for workbench or desktop mounting.
