The New Unison Corporation offers a Model 8200 combination burr/cutting tool grinder. The machine is designed to minimize deflection when grinding tools while maintaining a continuous grinding accuracy of 0.0002".


The eight-axis “turnkey” production grinding system comes equipped with an automated pick-n-place loader, which allows “lights out” precision grinding of a complete line of surgical and dental burrs and other medical tools. Also included is the company’s   “Geometral”software, which enables operators to customize tool designs and view new tools in 3D on the machine’s high-resolution color flat panel monitor.   


Yaskawa AC servomotors and drive amplifiers, built-in networking capability, an automatic wheel compensation feature, and the capacity to store as many as 10,000 part programs/wheel packs are among the machine’s features.
