ITW Rocol says it designed the gel to stay where it is applied, eliminating the mess of conventional lubricants. Virtually no cleaning is required before welding, and it is easily cleaned before paint or plating. According to the company, the gel enables cost savings by reducing consumption and improving housekeeping as well as tool or mandrel life.
The gel is supplied ready to use and is available in 5- and 55-gallon containers.
