Datron Dynamics’s M10 Pro features linear scales on all axes driven by larger motors and drives, yielding a ±5-micron position accuracy and rapids ranging to 30 m per min. A high-speed CNC is available for three to six axes. The machining center has a direct-drive, liquid-chilled, 40,000-rpm spindle that uses HSK-25E toolholders with less than 1 micron runout.

With a gantry construction, the center features a 40" × 28" work area and a 79" × 83" footprint. Added functionality, such as palletized workholding and advanced probing, is available to reduce setup time and increase part quality and uniformity. The machining center is suited for industries and applications that require high accuracy and spindle speed, such as defense, aerospace, electronics, energy, medical and more.
