The Air Main Charging System (AMCS) from Kaeser Compressors is designed to protect clean air treatment equipment while preventing contaminants from being swept downstream. The device prevents excessive air velocity at system startup by continuously metering the amount of compressed air to maintain a set minimum pressure on the supply side and slowly charging the main distribution piping. According to the company, this not only ensures the correct air quality, but it also protects and extends the life of filters, dryers and air treatment equipment.

Available in three configurations, the system consists of a pressure switch, five-way solenoid control valve with adjustable nozzles and either a ball valve or butterfly valve with manual override.
