Gravotech is displaying Technifor’s Impact benchtop marking machine, available in pneumatic and electromagnetic models. The dot-peen/micro-percussion marking machine features iSense technology, which automatically detects a part’s shape and adjusts the Z axis accordingly, and Dynamic Dot Control technology, which automatically adjusts point density.

The machine is built to achieve high-precision marks in seconds, with character height ranges from 0.5 mm to 100 mm. With a maximum material hardness of 62 HRC, the machine marks plastics (ABS, PA and PP) and metals including steel, painted steel, aluminum, brass, iron, and raw and anodized aluminum. Marking applications include text, logos and 2D codes. Data can be uploaded and downloaded through Ethernet, TCP/IP, RS232, USB, FTP, and dedicated inputs and outputs. The machine is compatible with any existing Technifor stylus without reprogramming.
