Marubeni Citizen-Cincom’s Miyano BNE-51MYY and BNE-65MYY twin-turret lathe models are equipped with a double-Y axis for improved composite machining.
These two BNE models with machining diameters of 51 and 65 mm, respectively, are said to feature high rigidity and precision. The upper and lower turrets of both lathes are equipped with a Y axis. Operating with the same capabilities, these two 12-station turrets are said to provide even more flexible tooling due to optimal process allocation which is not restricted by machining balance limitations.
Both models also feature nine independent cutting axes, four simultaneous cutting axes, a 24 hp main spindle and 15 hp subspindle both with 5,000 rpm. The dual 12-station turrets offer Y axis capability and there are 24 live tool positions with 6,000 rpm. The BNE-51MYY has a 2.00" bar capacity, while the BNE-65MYY has a 2.56" bar capacity.
