Modular Chip, Fluid Processing Systems Provide Flexibility

PRAB has expanded its chip and fluid systems line to include more modular equipment layouts. These chip processing systems comprise all of the equipment needed to effectively process scrap while requiring minimal floor space. The products are intended to meet the demand for smaller, regional collection and processing points rather than central chip and fluid processing systems. These modular systems offer flexibility and ease of installation and connection with the ability to add other modules for expanded chip handling capacity. The systems typically include material handling conveyors, a preprocessing crusher and/or shredder, and a wringer or centrifuge. Other options include modules for briquetting as well as fluid recycling and filtration for reuse.
