Odorless Rust Preventive

Wallover Metalworking Fluids offers Wocotec 3062, a rust preventive that is blended with odorless mineral spirits. The substance prevents staining while maintaining a protective, dry coating on products.

Advanced additive chemistry is said to form water-displacing rust preventives that do not emulsify, even in the presence of alkali. They quickly separate water displaced from metal surfaces after machine operations or alkali cleaning, the company says.

The thin coating that is left on products can be removed using mineral spirits, kerosene or alkali wash.
