Heck Industries' Model 8000 Bevel-Mill is designed for plate-edge beveling for weld preparation and finish chamfering. The machine uses indexable carbide inserts in a milling-type cutter and can bevel 6' to 8' per minute on materials ranging from aluminum to stainless steel. Other features include variable angle ranging from 15 to 45 degrees and adjustable depth of cut. In addition, interchangeable inserts can be used to clean welds off box corners or other applications.
