The flexible machine can measure gears of unlimited size when used as a portable system, the company says.
Docking stations with 3,000 mm outside capability are available for inspection lab use with full CNC control. When docked, the machine is said to be capable of 3D prismatic metrology. The station features a built-in active rotary table that provides accuracy for form and roundness measurements. According to the company, the system adheres to the Inspection Plus-Plus (I++) protocol and can utilize any compliant CMM software, such as solutions from Wenzel and Zeiss.
