Shops are said to achieve 25-40 percent longer life with Jabro-Solid2 end mills from Seco Tools. Designed for aerospace, the JS754 and JS755 tools provide high performance to tackle challenging materials, including ISO M (stainless steel) and S (heat-resistant superalloys and titanium).

The cutter geometries optimize side milling, roughing and slotting, as well as roughing and milling operations. Instead of struggling with chip formation, the peripheral rake faces and radius design of these cutters are said to evacuate chips efficiently while maintaining radius form. To avoid slow cutting when interpolating or ramping for pocket machining, increased front back tapers enhance speed and reliability, according to the company. Shops can match tool to application with various lengths.
