B&R Automation's integrated software development environment, Automation Studio 4, contains tools for all phases of a project, including programming , visualization, configuration, diagnostice/simulation and communication. From logic control to drive and motion control (even CNC and robotic control) the B&R controller, drives, visualization and communications are all configured in a single environment. According to the company, this reduces the integration time as well as maintenance cost when implementing a machine control platform.
