Prab’s horizontal screw press is designed to recover cutting oils and coolants from metal grinding swarf and filter cake. According to the company, the press can be used as a stand-alone processor to extract as much as 80 percent of liquids or in combination with the company’s PacesetterII Briquetter to recover as much as 95 percent of fluids and obtain a near-solid metal puck. In addition to the press, the company offers magnetic, steel-belt and drag conveyors along with a line of metal-chip processing equipment.
