PRAB’s E-series chip processing system is designed for efficient processing of scrap metal, including wet chips and turnings, in quantities of less than 1,000 lbs. Skid-mounted on a 4 × 10-ft. frame, the system contains the equipment necessary to process chips for recycling and reclaim cutting fluids, including a centrifuge/wringer, reversible diagonal shaft wringer, 50-gallon fluid recovery tank and PLC with touchscreen HMI. A screw conveyor meter feeds the system to prevent binding and clogging, while the discharge screw conveyor elevates dry chips for disposal. The unit is self-contained and portable via forklift.
