System Filters Ultrafine Particles from Oil
EMO 2017: Vomat will feature its micro-filtration systems, which are designed for filtering ultrafine particles from oil used in processes including grinding, honing, lapping and erosion.
Vomat will feature its micro-filtration systems, available from Oelheld, which are designed for filtering ultrafine particles from oil used in processes including grinding, honing, lapping and erosion. The controlled, full-flow filtration keeps dirty and clean oil separate. The systems feature an automatic backwash cycle which is initiated by the degree of dirt in the filter elements, and a variable drive filter, which activates only when needed.
Special pre-coat filters are designed to ensure that fresh, clean oil is available to NAS 7 (3 to 5 microns) standards to enable grinding for long periods of time.
The filtration systems are designed to be compact, low-maintenance and modular, offering options for cooling, filtration, sludge collection and sludge recycling. They are available in different configurations, including stand-alone units and plant-wide central systems.
