RealVision has updated its tool management system, ToolManager 2012, to offer more comprehensive and complex features designed to increase production and profit. The tool management software is said to have built-in flexibility that enables users to tailor their information to their own shop floor.

Software enhancements include the ability to create setup sheets. The sheets can improve the manufacturing process by creating consistency across multiple users and reducing scrap. Additional features include inventory control and management, gage management with calibration and tracking, tool crib interface for logging tools in and out, and tool list management with a Tool Bom. A tool presetter interface is available as an option. The system is said to easily integrate with MRP/ERP systems.
