This combination is said to provide time savings compared to changing tools and increased machine utilization rates, especially for aluminum applications.

The insert and pocket feature a dovetail interlocking design providing better insert clamping and stability during various applications, compared with conventional screw-down insert retention, according to the company.

Eight holders are available in diameters of 10, 12, 14 and 16 mm (0.394", 0.472", 0.551" and 0.630"), each in right- and left-hand models. Inserts are available in four different sizes to fit the corresponding holders.
