Ultimaker S5 Pro Bundle Enables Longer Unattended 3D Printing

The Ultimaker S5 Pro Bundle 3D printer includes a material station and air manager for automated material handling, optimized air filtration and filament humidity control. As a result, the company says, the system boosts productivity with an extended range of materials.
Designed and tested to be left unattended, the material station and air manager enable the Ultimaker S5 to print longer. Whether a print job requires a different material or a spool runs out, the material station automatically switches.
The air manager’s filtering is precisely controlled by optimized software profiles for every Ultimaker material and more than 40 third-party filaments. This is said to eliminate concerns about ultrafine particles (UFPs), the company says.
The machine also includes Ultimaker’s software suite. Ultimaker Cura manages fan settings for each material. Ultimaker Connect queues print jobs to enable 24/7 production. The Ultimaker Marketplace provides access to third-party filaments.
