Kent CNC will showcase its CNC KHV-400 combination horizontal/vertical machining center designed for five-sided machining in a single setup. The versatile machining center is said to enable faster setups, loading and unloading while optimizing floor space with an 82" × 114" footprint. The10,000-rpm, 10-hp horizontal and 15-hp vertical spindle features a direct-drive spindle motor. The X-, Y- and Z-axis travels measure 19.7" × 19.7" × 17.8", and rapid traverse rates are 36 m/min. in each axis, upgradeable to 48 m/min. The machining center is equipped with a two-set, 24-tool automatic toolchanger and a rotary table with optical scale.
