The Fryer VT Series from Fryer Machine Systems is a compact, large swing vertical turret lathe available in 60", 80" or 100" swing sizes. This series features an innovative traveling column design that enables a large swing in a small footprint. The unique horizontal turret is said to feature excellent clearance for long and short tools alike. The VT Series is available with full C-axis contouring and positioning, as well as with a powerful live tool turret. It comes equipped with a Fryer-Siemens CNC control that features shop floor conversational programming, G-code programming, 3D graphics and fast set-up cycles. Fryer says this is an excellent choice for single-part and short-run production.
