Fastems’ FPC pallet system is designed as a compact, cost-effective solution for automating horizontal machining centers. The system is available with pallet sizes ranging from 400 to 1,250 mm to accommodate workloads ranging from 750 to 7,500 kg. All models can be extended to include as many as three machining centers and can be installed on new machines or existing equipment.
The large pallet capacity makes it possible to run production with zero setup times, the company says. Easy access to the fixture helps produce high-quality parts while simplifying the production flow. The system’s MMS5 control enables automatic dynamic rescheduling of jobs in changing production situations and can accommodate added modules when additional capacity or new features are needed.
