AMT—the Association For Manufacturing Technology has announced its intention to acquire all assets of the media properties Time Compression and Process Cleaning from Gardner Publications (Gardner also publishes Modern Machine Shop). The organization says the acquisitions will support its strategic mission to grow its membership to include manufacturers of new and developing technologies, such as additive manufacturing.

The organization says the acquisitions will support its strategic mission to grow its membership to include manufacturers of new and developing technologies, such as additive manufacturing. It is developing a suite of services for this community that will include existing products such as the International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS), business intelligence tools, technical meetings and conferences, and activity in overseas markets.
Assets to be purchased include the lists, websites and e-mail newsletters of both properties.
