Weldon Solutions has begun construction on a new facility that will feature 40,000 square feet of manufacturing and office space. Located 10 minutes west of the current location in York, Pennsylvania, the new facility also has room to grow-future plans include a 21,000-square-foot expansion. The move was announced in fall of 2007 after management decided that a new building would be more cost-effective than the present facility. The building will feature a 2,300-square-foot showroom housing demo models of a range of machinery, including CNC cylindrical grinders, robotic automation systems, automated storage and retrieval systems, drives and controls technology. A large gage lab housing the company's quality-control inspection equipment will be located adjacent to the showroom.
