Third Wave Systems offers Production Module version 5.9, an NC program optimization system that integrates workpiece material models, cutting tool geometries and machine dynamics to predict and display previously unattainable machining performance indicators.
2D updates include a feedback system for better detection of errors and unsupported commands; a split setup window to better match Production Module 3D workflow; force calculation and optimization speed ups; APT code support; and multiple tool offset definition.
