NCCS Corp. Releases Advanced Machine Control Software

NCCS Corp. has announced the release of PostWorks Connect, a machine control software with Connect technology. According to the company, PostWorks is a high-end universal post processor that generates precise NC code for a wide variety of machines, including mills, lathes and multi-use machines. NCCS Corp. says the software combines a user-friendly interface with advanced functionality for complete control of the machine.
PostWorks Connect features:
- Complete cycle support for five-axis+
- Total output control with the ability to adjust output date with scale, mirror, translate and rotate
- Macro capability for advanced customization
- Plugin control to convert any known CAD/CAM format for virtually any CNC machine control
- Existing post cloning to quickly modify specific aspects for machines with similar configuration
CNNS Corp. says the PostWorks suite also includes simulation software for the material removal process and machine kinematics, which can run while performing interference checking between all relevant components of the machining environment.
