Methods Machine Tools Presents Die/Mold Technology Case Study at Amerimold 2015

Methods Machine Tools Inc.’s Yasda Die/Mold Project Manager Jeff Johnson will collaborate with Extreme Tool and Engineering Inc. President Mike Zacharias for a technology and case study presentation at Amerimold 2015 in Rosemont, Illinois. The moldmaking presentation will overview how the application of multi-axis machining technology affected a moldmaking shop for faster, streamlined production and fewer operations. The presentation will take place the first day of the show, June 17, 2015.
Mr. Zacharias will examine how to achieve mold process improvements and cycle time reductions on cavity and core blocks, including polish time reductions and cost-effective cavity milling in materials of 60 HRc and harder with polish-level finishes. The presenters will look at Extreme Tool’s experience with the Yasda YBM 640V3 three-axis CNC vertical jig borer for high-speed boring and milling operations.
