Sandvik Coromant Becomes DMG MORI Premium Partner
The company is the only tooling maker in DMG MORI’s Premium Partner program.
Cutting tool manufacturer Sandvik Coromant has signed an agreement to become a Premium Partner of machine tool manufacturer DMG MORI. Sandvik Coromant is currently the only tooling manufacturer to be named a DMG MORI Premium Partner.
As such, Sandvik Coromant will work with DMG MORI on a range of initiatives including R&D and engineering, open house events, trade show appearances, technical seminars, website collaboration, and the DMG MORI Journal. The agreement will give users of DMG MORI machines access to Sandvik Coromant’s turning, parting and grooving, threading, milling, drilling, boring, and reaming tools, as well as its tooling systems and services.
The two companies may also collaborate on turnkey projects, according to Klas Forsström, global president of Sandvik Coromant.
