Schunk recently opened a Service and Technology Center in Houston, Texas. The center offers service technicians for installing and servicing all brands of chucks; troubleshooting, repair and maintenance for workholding and toolholding systems as well as automation accessories; extensive local stock and parts inventory for same-day dispatch; technical advice and assistance; and a fully-equipped showroom with demonstration machinery.
“Whether the challenge is to decrease setup time, reduce costs or successfully machine a complicated piece, Schunk is locally available to work through solutions,” the company says.
The center has a milling machine, lathe, air chuck display and robotic machine-loading display, offering the ability to see a variety of processes using real parts and machines.
