Iscar offers its SwissCut Innoval product line, a generation of Swiss tools and inserts designed to enable greater accuracy and improved surface finish. The line includes a new concept for insert clamping that can be indexed without the need to fully remove the screw. The dual-direction locking mechanism avoids the risk of the insert or the clamping hardware falling out, reducing setup time and overall machine downtime, the company says.
Iscar also offers the Picco Ace, another product from the Miniature application solutions line. The product line uses a clamping system with three-point contact for solid carbide bars and is said to promote accuracy, rigidity and flexibility of clamping orientation.
