The Screw Machine Technology Zone—And Beyond
In case you haven't noticed, MMS Online has launched a new zone that includes a multitude of screw machining-related information (www.mmsonline.com/screwmachine). MMS' focus on screw machining includes a tailored suppliers database, a forum and content centering on Swiss-Type, Multi-Spindle, Rotary Transfer and Bar Feeder applications. But the online coverage doesn't stop there.
As featured last month in Modern Machine Shop, we will be launching a new magazine in January 2001, dedicated to the screw machine industry. Its title: Production Machining.
The magazine will be published by MMS and is presented in cooperation with the Precision Machined Parts Association (www.pmpa.org).
Why am I telling you about this in On The Web? For two, very good reasons:
First, you're going to want to get this magazine. And the best way to do that is to visit its online home, www.production-machining.com and fill out the online subscription form. It's easy to do, and the magazine is free to qualified persons.
Second, around January, you'll see much of what is now MMS' Screw Machine Technology Zone moving to the production-machining.com URL.
Keep your browser on MMS Online for updates.
