How to Optimize Machining of HRSAs and Titanium Materials and Increase Productivity

June 07, 2023 |

Join this webinar as Sandvik Coromant yellow coat specialists will share key techniques and solutions to effectively machine engine components.

New technologies and processes are critical to manufacturing and machining the advanced materials of tomorrow's sustainable aircraft. As next-generation, heat-resistant super alloys (HRSAs) and titanium materials grow in use for these aircraft engine components, challenges emerge at the machining stage. Machining these components effectively—and to the highest standards—requires optimized tools and process knowledge relevant to these advanced materials. Now is the ideal time to identify how to increase productivity for machining of aerospace engine HRSA and titanium components.

Tune in to hear which milling and turning strategies reduce cycle times and what tooling solutions support cost-effective machining.

Agenda:

  • How to increase productivity when machining aerospace engine HRSA titanium components
  • Which key techniques you should use to reduce cycle time and increase process security
  • Application and process recommendations that will help you use your tools with maximum process reliability and component quality
