Acquisition Expands GTI Spindle’s In-House Offerings

GTI Spindle Technology Inc. (Manchester, New Hampshire) has acquired Innovative Machine and Design Technology Inc. (IMD; Bloomington, Illinois) to further increase its repair and rebuild capabilities as well as introduce new manufacturing and reverse-engineering capabilities. Innovative Machine and Design Technology will join GTI’s Bloomington, Illinois, facility.

“An important part of our growth strategy is to provide as many services as we can in-house,” says Lisa Bailey-Beavers, GTI vice president of sales. “IMD’s expertise will help us accelerate spindle repair and rebuild capabilities in the Midwest.”
