The WorldSkills Liepzig 2013 competition will take place July 2-7 at the Leipzig Trade Fair in Germany. Skilled workers under the age of 22 will compete at the event to be named best in their respective trades. In the manufacturing division, participants can take part in challenges for CNC turning and milling, welding, automation, industrial control and a manufacturing team challenge, among others. Over 1,000 young people are expected to compete.
The event will also include conferences, seminars and symposiums led by industry experts. Event sponsors include DMG / Mori Seiki, Mitutoyo, Siemens, Sandvik Coromant, Mastercam and others.
