CAM software developer Delcam (Windsor, Ontario) will partner with Mazak (Florence, Kentucky) at the machine tool builder’s “More with Mazak” manufacturing technology exhibition May 8-10 at its Northeast Regional Headquarters and Technology Center in Windsor Locks, Connecticut.

 

Attendees will view two sophisticated demonstrations involving the machining of a lower jaw mold for the dental industry and a medically-oriented part. The former will be machined using tool paths and NC code generated from Delcam’s PowerMill system on a Mazak VC Compact 5X five-axis VMC, while the latter will be machined with a combination of Delcam’s PartMaker software and Mazak’s Integrex i-150 multi-tasking bar-fed mill.
