Okuma, Sandvik to Co-Host Aerospace Technology Event
The December event will combine educational talks with technology demonstrations.
Okuma America Corp. and Sandvik Coromant are teaming up to host an event titled “Manufacturing Excellence – Applying Emerging Technologies to Aerospace Manufacturing,” December 8-9, 2015 in Charlotte, North Carolina. Guests will tour the Aerospace Center of Excellence, view CNC machine tool cutting demonstrations and learn about CNC machining technologies for the aerospace industry.
Keynote speaker Robert Mudge, of RPM & Associates Inc., will discuss using additive and subtractive manufacturing to increase productivity. The event will also include a learning session about the Industrial Internet of Things as well as technology demonstrations and talks. The event is intended to provide opportunities for attendees to learn about new and emerging technologies and their application, network with aerospace-industry leaders, and gain insights toward improved productivity.
