Sandvik Announces New Strategic Direction

Cutting tool manufacturer Sandvik Coromant (Fair Lawn, New Jersey) has announced a new regionalized business structure intended to boost efficiency and profit with a stronger and more enhanced focus on growth.  As previously announced, John Israelsson will lead the new regional organization as president of Market Area Americas.

Cutting tool manufacturer Sandvik Coromant (Fair Lawn, New Jersey) has announced a new regionalized business structure intended to boost efficiency and profit with a stronger and more enhanced focus on growth.
 
As previously announced, John Israelsson will lead the new regional organization as president of Market Area Americas. The rest of the management structure comprises the following appointments: Jamie Price, president of Sandvik Coromant USA; Claudio Camacho, president of sub-market area South and Central America; and Ross Carpino and Carlos Velaquez, who will continue their current responsibilities for Canada and Mexico, respectively.
 
Functional groups will be led by Ignacio Telleria, president of engineering; Brian Norris, vice president of business development; Davina Davad, vice president of operations; Robert Fischer, vice president of strategic accounts; Björn Roodzant, senior manager for the global web; and Ester Codina, marketing and communication manager.
