EDM manufacturer Sodick (Schaumburg, Illinois) has launched a new 7-year warranty program for new machines. Upon purchasing a machine, customers can opt for SodickCare Premier 3 or SodickCare Premier 5, which expand the standard warranty to 3 or 5 years, respectively.

Upon purchasing a machine, customers can opt for SodickCare Premier 3 or SodickCare Premier 5, which expand the standard warranty to 3 or 5 years, respectively. Once that machine is within the last 6 months of the warranty, the customer can add an additional 2 years, which is called SodickCare Premier Plus. SodickCare Premier provides additional benefits not included in the standard warranty, and SodickCare Premier Plus offers those same benefits for an additional 2 years. The new warranty program will also offer and additional 2 years of these benefits after the warranty expires, such as discounts on parts and service.
