Miller Electric offers the Multimatic 200 and LPR-100 half-mask respirator, as well as upgrades to its Bobcat line, Big Blue 350 PipePro and Arc Armor Titanium series welding helmets.
The Multimatic 200 is a three-in-one portable welding power source capable of performing MIG, Stick and TIG welding processes in a compact design. According to the company, the Auto-Set Elite feature enables operators to quickly and easily set weld parameters based on material type and thickness, and fine tune those parameters to match each specific application. The system weighs 29 lbs and connects to common 120- and 230-V power receptacles with the company’s multi-voltage plug.
The LPR-100 half-mask respirator features a low-profile design to fit under most welding helmets. The NIOSH-certified design is said to filter out 99.97 percent of airborne particles and oil aerosols with an Assigned Protection Factor (APF) of 10. The mask can be customized with a four-point head strap adjustment, and a large non-return exhaust valve reduces heat build-up and user fatigue.
The Bobcat line of engine-driven welders and generators has been redesigned to reduce sound and weight. The line now offers a smaller footprint and reduced fuel use, with an Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) option available on the Bobcat 250. The Big Blue 350 PipePro engine-driven welder and AC generator features a Caterpillar turbocharged C1.5T engine. The 24.7-hp, 1,800-rpm engine is a liquid-cooled, three-cylinder, EPA Tier 4 Interim model. In addition, the company’s Arc Armor Titanium series welding helmets have been redesigned with InfoTrack technology, enabling the operator to track arc-on time, and set alarms and timers with a digital clock.
