View Micro-Metrology, a division of Quality Vision International, presents the View Pinnacle video measuring system, ideal for measuring micro-parts because it is geared to the unique requirements posed by very small feature sizes. According to the company, the compact size of this floor-model system is well-suited for insertion in production lines and work cells where precision measurements are needed for immediate feedback.
The company says its VMS metrology software provides flexibility to customize routines and enables full use of multi-megapixel camera technology and high resolution optics for accurate, high-speed measurements. VMS provides full access to data structures and utilizes variables, expressions, loops, logic, file I/O, advanced image processing and custom alignments.
