Carmex offers two lines of multi-functional thread mills specifically designed to machine hardened materials ranging to 62 HRc. The HTSH type is designed for precision work in small holes, while the MTH type is suitable for standard applications. Both feature an ultra-fine sub-micron grade of MT9/MT11 with advanced PVD triple coating. The thread mills are said to be suited for hardened steels, high-temperature alloys, titanium alloys and ultra-hard formulations such as Hastelloy, Inconel and nickel-based alloys.
