Auto Sharpener
The XT-3000 auto sharpener automates the drill sharpening of the XT-3000 sharpener.

Sharpen Range of Cutting Tools
The XT-3000 has the ability to sharpen a range of cutting tools, including drill bits sized 1/8" to 1- 13/16" (3 to 30 mm), countersinks, step drills and brad point drills, at a variety of angles.

Automated Drill Sharpening
The XT-3000 sharpener now features a completely automated drill-sharpening function to enable faster and more consistent sharpening.

Drill Sharpener Helps Shop Hone Competitive Edge
Bringing drill sharpening operations in-house saved both time and money at this Chicago-based manufacturer. However, the sharpener itself, Darex’s XPS-16, provided additional benefits—with high accuracy and consistent results, the machine helped the company maintain precision and quality.

Drill Sharpener Features New Chuck Attachment
Darex introduces the first of several new attachments for its XT-3000 Xpandable tool sharpener, which sharpens a variety of drills and cutting tools. The new chuck allows users to accurately grip common shank diameter and Morse taper drills to expand the range of cutting tools that the user can re-sharpen.

Four-Axis CNC Drill Sharpener
According to the company, the XPS-16 CNC drill sharpener can reproduce complex, high-tech points found on premium HSS and carbide drills. This sharpener is designed for shops that require precision, simplicity and productivity, the company says. A collet chuck version of the auto sharpener is available.

Gear Manufacturer Cuts Costs By Reclaiming Used Tools
This gear manufacturer needed to reduce high costs resulting from replacing dull drill bits or sending them out for sharpening. With the XT3000 Xpandable tool sharpener from Darex, the shop has done just that. In addition, the device allows the company to custom-sharpen drills for specific jobs.
